Coombe Cottage is located in the village of Goodleigh just less than 3 miles east of Barnstaple. From Taunton to Barnstaple your journey will be 36 miles via the A361 and in normal traffic conditions it will take approximately 45 minutes to reach Barnstaple.
Bideford, Ilfracombe, Saunton Sands and Woolacombe are all within a 20 minute off peak drive away. Most satellite navigation systems recognise the location of Coombe Cottage in Goodleigh.

General Directions
The easiest routes are from junctions on either the M5 or the A303.
From the M5
Leave the M5 at junction 27 and then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A361, signposted Barnstaple, Tiverton. Watch out for speed cameras on this road.
Continue on the A361 until you reach Barnstaple following signs to Ilfracombe. Go straight over the first roundabout. You will see Tescos superstore on your left. Go straight over the next roundabout and turn right at the next 2 roundabouts continuing to follow signs to Ilfracombe. At the first set of traffic lights (non pedestrian) take the right turn to Goodleigh. After approximately 2.5 miles take right hand fork to Goodleigh village. After the Goodleigh village sign you will find Coombe Cottage on the left hand side.
From the A303
Head west on the A303 from your destination. At Southfields roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A358 (signposted Taunton, M5). At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A358 (signposted Taunton). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A358 (signposted Taunton, Minehead). At crossroads continue forward onto the A38 (signposted Taunton, Minehead). Branch left, and then merge onto the A38. Continue forward onto the A38 (signposted Exeter). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A38 (signposted Wellington, M5). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A38. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A38. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A38. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A361 (signposted Barnstaple, Tiverton). Follow directions as above from A361.

By rail:
The nearest railway station is Barnstaple Railway Station and is situated south of the River Taw behind the B&Q store. The station is 4 miles from Goodleigh. For British Rail enquiries contact: 08457 48 49 50.
By coach or bus:
Barnstaple Bus and Coach Station is situated centrally in the town and approximately 3 miles from Goodleigh. It is also served by National Express Coach Service.
