Coombe Cottage is a delightful, 200 year old traditional end terrace
cottage, just a moment away from the heart of the quiet village of
Goodleigh. Close to the market town of Barnstaple, Goodleigh is located
centrally so you may enjoy the many tourist attractions of the region,
the infamous beaches and coastline and Barnstaple – the region’s retail
and leisure centre, with great high street shopping and a celebrated
Pannier Market for crafts, local produce and antiques.
With exposed beams, an open fire and spectacular views, this picturesque Devon cottage offers character accommodation for up to five people, and is ideally situated for walkers, cyclists, tourists and sightseers alike. Charming, comfortable and full of character, Coombe Cottage is available as a holiday let to those who wish to have a quality base for their visit to North Devon.
Lounge
At Coombe Cottage, you'll get a real taste of country life. Downstairs,
the entrance hallway leads into a cosy, beamed living room with a wood
fire burner and traditional furnishings including leather settees. The
cottage boasts stripped pine flooring throughout. A television with Sky
TV and DVD player are available together with numerous indoor games and
books for your enjoyment.
Kitchen
The lounge leads through to a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with
slate flooring and quality units. For your convenience we provide all
the facilities required for self–catering, including, a hob, cooker,
separate integral fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and an
additional television. You will also find a juice extractor, fondue set
and even cookery books! No need to bring cleaning equipment it is all
provided.

Garden Room
The kitchen opens into the spacious garden room where one can dine in
comfort overlooking the garden and step out onto the patio in warmer
weather. Again, strip pine flooring and rugs to depict the true
character of the cottage. A solid oak table and chairs provides easy
dining for all your family and friends.
Utility Room
From the garden room you will step into a separate utility room and
downstairs shower room. Included is a separate automatic washing machine
and tumble drier. A ‘Belfast’ sink will enable you to rinse any swimming
costumes, wets suits or walking boots and for your convenience washing
liquid and conditioner are provided to wash your laundry. Here too you
can dry those wet clothes and walking boots.
Shower Room
Downstairs there is a separate, modern white shower room with corner
shower unit, sink and WC. All towels are provided
