Our aim is to provide a quality, comfortable and well equipped cottage from which you can enjoy your holiday in North Devon. We are very pleased to be able to share some of the kind comments left by our guests in the visitor’s book and feedback forms. Just occasionally things can go wrong so we have shared some of those moments with you and how we have fixed things as well! We would like to thank our guests and we hope to see them again soon:

Visitors from Lievin, France:- 'Well......we found he cottage extraordinarily well-equipped and clean! Everything is well thought. We particularly appreciated the 'welcome attention' with an Easter card on top of that! The logs ready in the burner great as well. Nothing was missing - you even thought of the sunshine. Thanks for everything we already want to come back!'

Christmas visitors: - 'Just thought I would send you a quick email to say 'thank you'. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, we were blown away by how lovely it was and how it was furnished and decorated with good taste. We had a lovely short break there and hope to visit again.'

Repeat visitor from Weston-Super- Mare:- 'We came the same time last year for a weekend and it wasn't long enough so this time we came for a week. We even managed a few days of sunshine but nights warranted the beautiful log burner. We thought the new doors and rearrangement of the beds was good. The oven packed up early in our stay and we envisaged having to cope without it for the rest of the week. Hats off to all and it was fixed the following morning! Excellent service. Presentation of the cottage is still outstanding. We'll be back next year.'

Repeat visitor:- 'We'll be back. This is our second stay at Coombe Cottage after a 2 year gap. Forgotten how 'tar-dis like' the place is. It goes on and on! Once again our stay was very comfortable despite a few technical hitches - TV and dishwasher. All sorted - replacement dishwasher and TV installed.'

Visitors over the New Year:- 'Goodleigh is a little gem, you struck gold when you found it! As described, The New Inn was brilliant, food fantastic and local folk very welcoming. Wine was greatly appreciated after a 3 hour drive turned into nearly 6 hours. Hope we will do a return visit soon. Thank you again.'

Visitors from London – very happy with all aspects of our stay in your gorgeous cottage. We had a lovely welcome, everything was spotlessly clean and very impressed by how you provided everything you could want. We were especially impressed to see books for children and well stocked games – this made a huge difference. Also fondue set and fondue recipe book, wind break, fishing nets, basics such as tea, coffee, milk, soap, washing liquid etc. Knowing this beforehand it would be provided so as not to bring it all the way here! We have stayed in several cottages in the past but none so well maintained and thoughtfully equipped as yours. Thank you for a lovely stay.'
